Stopped in for a quick bite. Service was slow, but the food was hot, plentiful, and delicious
Stopped here the other night for dinner. Had Sushi, 2 Chicken Katsu bento boxes and a chicken hibachi dinner. Everything was good. Service was OK. Place is getting a bit dated, but still a good place to eat.
Japanese Hibachi is one of my favorites - have been here a number of times to enjoy the shows with flaming onion volcanoes, etc - even ordered take-out a few times during the pandemic ...never realized I neglected to review ;) ...sooo here we go! Took my daughter & her bf here for dinner tonight - did not call ahead to reserve a hibachi table & wouldn't you know it - 6:30 and already packed (seems like EVERYone is eating out this week;) No problem, we were fine with the regular® tables. Drinks came in a jif & we placed our orders - same entrees as we would have ordered at the big tables. I ordered Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp w/ small side salad. Our entrees we on the table in less than 10 minutes! Taste - definitely a cut above the norm. Veggies were well prepared - not mushy & meat was not overdone! Atmosphere - even when relatively full, the noise is not overwhelming - no matter which side you sit on. Aya is definitely a plus on the Carlisle dining scene!
The fact you can bring your own bottle of Sake here and enjoy dinner was great! Will definitely be coming back! Even take out is just as good!
Staff was so helpful, I had just gotten into Carlisle and didn't know what I wanted. They helped me pick out just enough food so I didn't feel anything was wasted.
Hibachi is amazing!!! The dragon roll is a must, and the All you can eat sushi is a great deal!!
A solid 3.5 stars! Came here twice while in Carlisle sure to several pluses: + Large parking lot + Close to the barracks + Open late + Sushi The first time we had the all you can eat option which is a good deal if you are already planning to get two specialty rolls. I had the dancing eel and the ichiban. Both were good. The fish and rice were okay, not the best quality. I had the tuna lover the second time and it was pretty tasty. Overall a good meal. Food was fast and it wasn't super busy.

Always love coming to this place. Hibachi is great and their all You can eat sushi is also sooooo good. Not many places have all you can eat. Was pretty disappointed with their takeout though. Night and day difference from sitting at the restaurant having dinner. Would not recommend getting takeout hibachi from here... stay there!
